Duration: Half dayIt was given this name for the towers that crown the summit which look like a gothic cathedral. During the winter, ski is practised at national and international level including competitions for professionals and amateurs, as well as other disciplines related to the snow.
The trip begins in Bustillo Avenue in the direction of Llao Llao. When we reach The Virgin of the Snows we take the road right hand. Leaving behind the salmon farming center we arrive to Villa Catedral, located on the foot of the homonymous hill.
Ski lifts take you from the base to the different platforms, that have coffeshops and restaurants for all tastes. Total descent can be done skiing (during winter) by the different rinks, in cable car or lift chair. But the hill is not exclusive for skiers. Those who do not enjoy ski can do, among other activities: hang-glider, mountain bike, trekking, ride on sleighs, snowmobiles, fourtracks.
