Duration: Full dayThis colorful corner of the south, stands out for its regional fair. Starting off from Bariloche, the excursion begins, bordering Gutierrez, Mascardi and Guillermo Lakes. After crossing Pampa del Toro, Cañadon de la Mosca and El Foyel, this full day tour takes us to the town of El Bolson. Much of its buildings are made of stone, and cypress tiles ceilings. The place offers good hotels and campsites, apart from good coach bus service to Bariloche and Chile through Samore Cardinal Pass.
In its 300 stalls El Bolson gets together a world of ceramics, wool, wood, leather, metals, dry flowers, sweets, fresh vegetables, freshly harvested fruits and everything that craftsmen and producers of the region make.
The Piltriquitron Hill, presents sculptures carved by prominent local and national artists on dry trees, conjugating art and nature. National park Lago Puelo; its turquoise blue waters reflect the green of the forests and the eternal white of the hill Tres Picos. You can see myrtles, lianas, climbing plants, ferns and listen to the sounds of the great variety of birds, take nautical excursions, walk along interpretation trails “forest of the shades” and enjoy the sun in summer at beach resort “la playita”.
